I was facebook chatting these urls to my roommate, who is on the other side of the wall...and thought I'd share the wealth with all you guys. So, here you go...Here's a goal-driven, cross-training, wanna-be-speed-reader's dream....
Nerd-Fun:
1. Using this tracking device for my running/reading/writing goals: www.joesgoals.com/
2. Reading this book and figuring out what "Fire the Workaholic" is all about (when it comes out): http://37signals.com/rework/
3. Getting free books just for reviewing them on my blog from Thomas Nelson Publishers:
http://booksneeze.com/
Run-Fun:
1. Actually getting into cross-training...and not forgetting my goggles tomorrow for the pool.
2. Feeling good after 12 miles Saturday, and actually wanting to do more than that this Saturday.
3. Realizing I can train for a Tri and read while I bike (at the Y, not on the road...that'd just be stupid), killing 2 birds with one stone.
Here's my question for you today... I'm pretty pumped about cross-training and the possibility of 2-a-days because of it... but I read this article http://michaelhyatt.com/2009/09/my-take-on-the-vibram-fivefingers-running-shoes.html and have always been pretty curious. So here's your opportunity. This article makes me want to get a pair of these, but I don't know. Check them out: Five Fingers

Well, I point and laugh at my little brother who wears them. However, he swears by them.
interesting... thanks for some feedback, Adam. Anybody else? I mean...they are like glorified toe socks... but I hear they are amazing to train in for running...
I would 100% support you wearing them ...in fact, please tell me that you will wear them to the office!
We could point and... I mean, we could encourage you in your training.
But for real, wait a while to buy them because I heard that will be the staff gift this year for all camp staff. Oops...***spoiler alert***
