Chasing Pigeons...And Renewing an Old Dream
I have a new favorite place to be. Last night I spent some time with Katie and Stephen at Fido and was once again sucked into the artsy, creative, coffee-filled world that I love. We sat in the "fish bowl", as Stephen likes to call it, which is the best seat in the house that yields a panoramic view of downtown near Vandy.
I've been "living the dream" these last two weeks. I got up at 3:45 am to go to a Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley concert that was on Good Morning America, watched people arrive on the red carpet at the CMAs, been to 3 dance classes, and enjoyed Vandy's first pre-season win against Lipscomb.
At my lyrical dance class last night, I was the only student to show. I got to talk a lot with my teacher, who is chasing a lot of different pigeons herself. One of her dreams is to start a community arts program for kids who can't afford to take lessons at a dance studio, and I got to talk about some of the pigeons that I would love to chase. Teaching dance as a side job is something I've always wanted to do, and I told her I'd definitely be interested in joining her in chasing her dream.
I'm so looking forward to being at home and playing some music with my friend, Russ. I'm going to get some good writing and reading time in, and see lots of friends and family.
What is something that you've always wanted to chase?

So question, just be clear what is the distinction between a dream a rabbit and pigeon?
It's explained by my first three posts, as well as the tag-line. The attainable goals (dreams), irrational dreams (pigeons), and take-it-or-leave-it soapboxes (rabbits-this also includes anything I want to include that doesn't fall under one of the other two)...
