New things for Week 9 of 2010:
- First Director's Weekend: super fun 4 days of training with camp folks. We also did a live announcement of teams, which was brand new and awesome, minus some technical difficulties.
- First Visit to IKEA: Check out that picture. I could live there...or at least spend a good 5-7 hours browsing and decorating the entirety of a house...and some.
- First Visit to North Point/KidStuf: I miss my sweet kids from Crossroads KidStuf. Andy Stanley is legit...
- First Visit to Southern Baptist Thelogical Seminary with Elizabeth: We stayed in the Marriot of all on campus buildings and got lots of free food and coffee. That alone makes it a great trip.
- First time to stop anytime we felt like it on a trip: One of those stops was to Bennie's Barn, pictured here above. It was three stories of amazingness. Who knew Glendale, KY had so much to offer? I kept finding myself saying, "I feel like I'm in Mayberry or on the set of Big Fish."
- Began collection: I found a really awesome modernish-looking antique tea-cup and saucer that I just had to have... I enjoyed the antique searching way more than I expected... Now just to find a really old 6-pane window or two to buy and more super cool teacups and saucers.
