This last week and a half has felt like a marathon. Funny how that happens. Last Saturday, I also ran the Scenic City Half Marathon with my roommate, Madeline. It was a blast minus the colder than freezing weather and a few "I hate you" hills. My time was ok, but mostly I ran for the love of it and for training, not really worrying about time. It was so cold I didn't notice my body was hurting, so I've been paying for that this week. I want to be running again, but my right foot won't let me... it doesn't even like me when I walk. After the race and driving home, I got to babysit my favorite kids again. This time, they made a scavenger hunt for me through the house. Once or twice I wondered if I was doing the babysitting or if they were babysitting me. They certainly are entertaining! I'm back to cutting a video and preparing for Director Weekend, our camp leadership training that is tomorrow-Monday. It's exciting and a little scary how close to camp we really are! My camp pastor and I got to do some foundation-laying for the summer last night and our team finds out who they are Sunday. I'm so ready!
